Community Involvement
Bill Bradford believes in making a meaningful impact by giving back to the community, which is why he proudly offers Paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to all team members at Wheels Powersports. Through VTO, associates are encouraged to volunteer up to 24 hours annually with local nonprofits. He and his family also volunteer and donate regularly to support a variety of organizations.
Alongside his wife Lisa and their family, he has been deeply committed to several organizations, particularly the Hospitality House, a day shelter for the homeless in Waterloo, IA. Together, they raised over $240,000 to fund the Waterloo Warming Center, a subsidiary of Hospitality House, which provides much-needed overnight shelter for the homeless during the winter months. He and Lisa were honored with awards in 2022 and 2023 for their work with the Hospitality House/Warming Center. Today, he remains actively involved, supporting both their daily needs and long-term goals. Below is a video that highlights one of the Community Service Awards Bill and Lisa were honored to receive.
In addition to the recognition for his work with the Hospitality House, he has received several awards over the years, each highlighting different aspects of his community involvement:

Mercy One Hospital’s Heroes Among Us Community Service Award (2022)
-
Association of Fundraising Professionals Gift of Philanthropy Award (2023)
